I love this little face he makes :)

Oliver's first time wearing his hat.
We sat on the porch and watched daddy do some weeding outside.

Our little bundle of joy sleeping, its funny the positions he sleeps in!
Another picture of him sleeping, his favorite thing to do during the day
and then keep his mommy and daddy up at night :)
Happy 4th of July! Oliver had fun spending the day with his cousins!

Oliver's First...

Oliver's first bath at home as you can tell he really loved it or hated it! It was funny right before I started bathing he peed a big arch right into the sink.  Of course Aaron said, "that's my boy!"

Oliver in his robe after his bath he finally stopped crying.

Family photo after his bath and yes Aaron wanted to be just like his wife and picked out the same color t-shirt!

Brushing Oliver's hair he really enjoys this :)

Oliver's first time sitting on the back patio while we were eating dinner.

Oliver's first walk in his stroller!

Oliver slept the whole time on the walk.  It was such a wonderful evening!

Oliver's first time sleeping with his hands under his head.  I thought this was cute because his big cousin Stockton sits like this on the couch.

WE ARE READY!!!!!

38 weeks pregnant and we are so ready to meet our little Oliver! This week we finally finished the baby's room, hopefully this doesn't seem like a brag session but I'm not going to lie I think it looks pretty good considering this was my first time sewing baby bedding and all. The only thing we have left to do is pack the hospital bag and install the car seat :) Here are some pics of Oliver's room, I may have gotten a little carried away with the pictures!!!!

Little Oliver's room

The other side of his room.  The lamp shade on the dresser, I covered myself :)
Aaron and I for FHE one night thought it would be fun to finger paint some pictures for Oliver.  Aaron painted the one on the left with the turtles and I painted the one on the right with the crabs.  I also painted the frames.

Oliver's crib.  I made the pillows, quilt, sheet and the bed skirt.  The hardest thing to make was the sheet, using elastic not a good idea!!!!

I made these little pillows and decided to put some stuffed animals with them (don't worry all of these little things will not be in the crib while Oliver is sleeping).  The bunny Aaron bought for me while we were in London when we were dating :)

This rocking chair my mother used with all of us girls.  I made the pillows on the chair.  I wanted to hang up some book shelves getting the idea from my sister Staci.  Aaron made the book shelves and I painted them blue.  The good thing about being a teacher I already had a great selection of children's books.  I also made the valance above the window.

My very fisrt quilt I made all by myself! I am pretty proud of it I must say.  I put it together and then using my mother-in-laws tin lizzy I quilted it and then I binded it.

6 WEEKS!!!!

Me at 33 weeks pregnant!

Baby Bump 31 weeks!

This is starting to seem so real.  We have 6 weeks or sooner until little Oliver will arrive!  Aaron and I are experiencing so many different emotions right now anxiousness, nervousness, excitment just  everything all combined in one.  This will be such a fun new change in our lives that we are thrilled about! We just finished our birthing class and now learning a little more about the whole pre and post of the labor and delivery, I feel a little more at ease.  It was nice yesterday we got to tour the new birthing center at the hospital where little Oliver will be born, its a brand new facility and the post recovery rooms have queen sized beds!  I still feel like we have a lot to get done before the baby arrives.  I have a few more little projects in the nursery to complete and then I will post some pictures :)  Thanks for everyone's continued love and support during the pregnancy, we really appreciate it!

Baby Bump!

As it states in the picture this is my 27 week baby bump! Now everywhere I go people are asking me "what am I having?" "have you picked out a name" or "how is the nursery coming along?" Well, "Boy" to answer the first question and "Oliver" to answer the second question. To answer the third question,"the nursery is all cleaned out we have a crib and dresser that are still in the boxes and I have the material picked out to make the bedding. With 13 weeks or sooner left to go my goal is to try to have everything done by 36 weeks...let's see if that actually happens :) This has been such a fun time feeling our little guy kick, dance, move, hiccup and summersault or at least that is what it feels like. I find he moves most while the music is on, I'm eating food, at night watching t.v. or when I am trying to sleep.
24 week baby bump it was Valentine's Day!
This was the 20 week baby bump. This was when the little elementary school kids started asking me if I was going to have a baby.
This was my little 15 week bump :)

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

NERDS!!! Yes we are, we went and saw STAR WARS Episode I in 3D! It was Awesome!! Its funny because even though we have seen STAR WARS a million times it never gets old especially in 3D and on the big screen! Its so fun being able to share all of these nerdy moments with my husband.

In honor of Valentine's Day and STAR WARS coming out, I decided to make sugar cookies! They were delicious especially since they are my mom's recipe nice and soft!!! So I hardly ever make desserts especially since Aaron and I just eat them all, well this little boy inside me all he wants are sweet treats. So this is the best reason to make something YUMMY!!!

We had fun at our friends house the Bunkers decorating giant sugar cookies with loads of candy, frosting and sprinkles!!! This was our first experience with decorating giant cookies and we had a blast!!!

For part of Aaron's Valentine's gift I decided to decorate his car while he was at school. I put red and pink balloons along with little love notes on hearts in his car. It was really fun decorating even though I got lots of weird looks from other college students...let's be honest they were just jealous that their lover didn't do that to their car! Aaron was really surprised and loved it!!!

My little Pooky Bear for my Valentine's gift brought me home a dozen roses and made me a spectacular dinner. He made me some salmon, potatoes, and asperagus. The salmon was amazing he made up his own spread to put on it, the salmon was so moist and delicious. What a man!!! Thanks babe I love you!!!

IT'S A BOY!!!!

We decided it would be fun to make pizza tonight and spell out the great news!!!

We are so excited that we are having a little boy! Its funny because all along I was thinking maybe its a girl but Aaron always said its going to be a boy! The ultrasound tech asked, "do you want to find out?" of course we said, "yes!" and she said,"here are the testes and the penis!" Its funny that we are having a boy because for the past few weeks I have been reading conference talks everyday from October General Conference and all this week I was reading talks from the preisthood session and I was thinking why do I need to know about young men preparing to serve missions. Well I got my answer, I will be preparing this little guy to go on a mission! Also yesterday I was bored at work and decided to draw up so baby room ideas, I was coming up with loads of boy room ideas but not girls...this is why!!!!

His little foot, he has been kicking a lot lately it is so fun to feel!!!

His little legs were crossed! I love it!!

His cute little face!

The ultrasound went really well the doctor said everything looks good! He is weighing in at 1lb and 4oz right on track to be due at the beginning of the summer!

It was so fun seeing the baby on the Ultrasound today, it is so cool that we live in a time with technology that we are able to see this little guy!
